The Accenture Assessment Pattern, Decoded

Team prephasz· 15 Jul 2026· 1 min read

Cognitive and technical assessment, coding, and communication — what each Accenture round actually tests and how to pace yourself across them.

Accenture's process is broad rather than deep: several short sections, each with its own clock. Knowing the layout keeps you from over-investing in one part and running dry on another.

The rounds

  • Cognitive assessment — English, critical reasoning, and ability. Fast, MCQ-heavy.
  • Technical assessment — fundamentals of programming, networking, cloud, and common tools.
  • Coding — two problems at a moderate difficulty.
  • Communication assessment — a spoken/typed English evaluation.

Pacing strategy

Because each section is separately timed, treat them as independent sprints. Do not carry stress from one into the next. Bank quick wins in the cognitive section, keep the technical section moving (do not linger on trivia), and give coding a clean, tested brute force.

Preparation focus

  • Brush up general CS fundamentals — enough breadth to answer the technical MCQs.
  • Practise basic coding for reliable partial marks.
  • Speak English aloud daily to steady the communication round.

The prephasz Accenture drive maps to this exact structure, so you rehearse the pacing before it counts.
