Wipro hiring process

Wipro is one of India's largest IT services employers, hiring engineering and science freshers at scale through its National Talent Hunt (NTH) program, run on the AMCAT-proctored online platform. Recruitment is tiered: Elite (Project Engineer, ~3.5 LPA), Turbo (~6.5 LPA for stronger coders), and WILP (a work-integrated learning track for B.Sc./BCA graduates). The flagship Elite online test is a ~128-minute assessment combining aptitude, an essay-based Written Communication test, and a coding round, followed by a technical/business discussion and an HR round.

1. 1

   Online Aptitude Test

   ~48-minute combined section covering Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability, taken on the AMCAT-proctored platform with no sectional timing, so candidates budget the full window across all three areas.

2. 2

   Written Communication Test

   A 20-minute essay on a single given topic, auto-evaluated for grammar, clarity of thought, paragraph structure and relevance — a Wipro-specific screen that many other IT firms omit.

3. 3

   Coding Round

   60 minutes to solve two programming problems (Easy-to-Medium) in a language of choice — C, C++, Java or Python — with output evaluated against hidden test cases.

4. 4

   Technical / Business Discussion Interview

   Face-to-face or virtual round probing core CS fundamentals, the candidate's coding solutions, projects and DBMS/OS basics; for WILP this is a Business Discussion assessing problem-solving and communication.

5. 5

   HR Interview

   Final round on personality fit, relocation and flexibility, willingness to sign the service agreement, and acceptance of the offered role/package before the Letter of Intent is issued.
