A day-by-day, topic-by-topic plan to go from shaky arithmetic to placement-ready quant in a month — built around daily practice, not marathons.
You cannot cram quantitative aptitude the night before. But you can build it reliably in a month with short, daily, focused practice. Consistency beats intensity here.
Week 1 — the foundation
Number system, LCM/HCF, percentages, and averages. One topic per day, 25 timed questions, and review every mistake.
Week 2 — ratios and their family
Ratio & proportion, ages, partnership, mixtures & allegations. These share a core idea; do them together so the pattern sticks.
Week 3 — the time family
Time & work, time-speed-distance, pipes & cisterns, and boats & streams. Heavy on placement papers — give it full attention.
Week 4 — high-value + revision
Permutations & combinations, probability, and data interpretation. Then two full-length timed mocks with complete review.
The rules that make it work
- Practise timed from day one — untimed practice builds false confidence.
- Review every wrong answer and log why you missed it.
- Mix topics in the last week so you learn to switch quickly.
Follow the plan and quant stops being the section you fear. The prephasz study plan drips exactly this sequence so you never have to guess what to do next.
